Pick-up at FLEX Stop:
Call 833-RTA-FLEX and provide the location number on the FLEX bus stop sign and we’ll swing by and pick you up.
Drop off at FLEX Stop:
Upon boarding, simply tell the bus operator the FLEX location number you want to stop at and we’ll swing by and drop you off!

What is a Flex route?
Flex routes combine the convenience and affordability of public transit to access service in an on-demand method within a dedicated area.
Flex route buses run on a fixed path and schedule, but passengers can request a special pick-up or stop at designated FLEX bus stops within the FLEX service area, unlike regular buses.

How much does it cost to ride the Flex 93?
The base fare is $0.75 for the general public. TAMU-CC students, faculty, and employees ride for free when presenting a valid TAMU-CC “SandDollar” ID card.

When does the Flex 93 operate?
Note: Service hours fluctuate during the summer semester.
Monday – Friday: service starts at 7:35 am and ends at 10:35 pm. Please call before 10:05 pm for a pick-up.
Saturday: service starts at 9:35 am and ends at 8:05 pm. Please call before 7:35 pm for a pick-up.
Sunday: No service on Sunday. -
How do you request a pick-up?
Designated Flex Bus Stop: passengers must call 833-RTA-FLEX (833-782-3539) to request a pick-up. A reservationist will dispatch a bus operator to pick you up!
On the Bus: passengers must inform the operator in advance which Flex bus stop they want to go to as the drop-off location. -

Do I have to call each time I need a ride from the on-call Flex 93 stop?
Yes. This is an on-demand service that only goes when you call for a pick-up. Based on the ridership demand, we may be looking at ways to honor subscriptions in the future.

Can I pre-schedule a trip for a pick-up?
No, trips cannot be pre-scheduled. This is an on-call service. Please call 833-RTA-FLEX (833-782-3539) to request a pick-up.

How much time will a customer have to wait for Flex service?
Typically, 15 minutes or less. We estimate a maximum of 30 minutes.

Can I use a transfer to board the Flex 93?
Yes, passengers are allowed to use transfers to board Flex 93. But, you must call for a pick-up at 833-RTA-FLEX (833-782-3539).

Does the Bus Operator on the Flex 93 issue transfers to board other CCRTA services?
Yes, passengers must request a transfer upon boarding the bus.

Yes, all CCRTA services are ADA compliant.
