Accessible Viewing Section
We’re excited to offer an Accessible Viewing Section available to all individuals with disabilities for the Buc Days Parade on Saturday, May 4th.
Accessible Viewing Section
The Accessible Viewing Section will be specially marked on Leopard Street along the side of the Staples Street Station building.
Special wristbands are required for all accessible viewing section attendees. Individuals with disabilities (or a family member/guardian of an individual with disabilities) can call CCRTA Customer Service (Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm, 361-883-2287) to schedule a pickup of up to 6 wristbands. The deadline to pick up wristbands is Friday, May 3rd at 3:00pm. Quantities and space are limited.
B-Line Paratransit Service Available to Accessible Viewing Section
- Trip reservations must be made 1-3 days in advance of the Buc Days Parade on May 4th
- Due to traffic congestion and paratransit demand, excessive wait times are to be expected
- B-Line will work with customers to ensure closest available drop-off or pick up based on closures
- Pick up will commence following the reopening of the area after the parade ends
- Any pickup trips must be scheduled when the customer books their trip reservations
