[July 15th] Service Improvements
As part of CCRTA’s efforts to improve service efficiency and accessibility, the following routes will be adjusted, effective July 15, 2024:
Route 3 (NAS Shuttle)
Streamlined and direct routing to better serve NAS-CC/CCAD
Route 5 (Alameda)
Extended routing from Six Points to Staples Street Station
Friday and Saturday service extended to 10:30pm
Route 6 (Santa Fe/Mall)
Modified routing to provide improved direct service in downtown Corpus Christi
Added Sunday Service
Route 12 (Hillcrest/Baldwin)
Transition to large bus for weekday service
Route 21 (Arboleda)
Additional early morning trips added to service
Route 37 (Crosstown/TAMUCC)
Increased weekday frequency and capacity during peak hours.
Route 65 (Padre Island Flex)
Renamed Padre Island Flex
New Flex service on North Padre Island and along Highway 361
Route 76 (Downtown Shuttle)
Renamed to Downtown Shuttle
Modified routing to provide improved direct service in downtown Corpus Christi
Route 78 (North Beach)
Renamed to North Beach
Modified routing and added Sunday service to improve service
Route 93 (FLEX)
Transition to large bus for weekday service
Discontinued Routes
The following routes will be discontinued due to low ridership. Resources will be re-allocated to expand and enhance other bus route services:
30 (Westside / Health Clinic)
55 (Gregory)
56 (Flour Bluff/Downtown Express)
66 (Crosstown Shuttle)
