What Is B-Line service?

B-Line Paratransit service is a shared ride on public transportation for people whose disabilities prevent them from using regular accessible fixed-route service. B-Line is a origin-to-destination transportation service provided to riders who have been determined eligible using the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. People with disabilities who are not prevented from using fixed route bus service by their disability would not qualify for B-Line service.

How does B-Line service work?

Once determined eligible by the RTA Eligibility Process certified riders wishing to use B-Line should call a day in advance of travel to schedule a trip.  The B-Line provides service comparable to fixed-route bus service as required by the ADA.

B-Line Service is available:

Monday-Friday: 4:58 AM – 10:56 PM
Saturday: 5:05 AM – 10:20 PM
Sunday: 10:13 AM – 7:42 PM
Service hours and holidays mirror those offered on fixed-route service.

How do I apply for B-Line service?

Persons who are prevented from using regular fixed-route service by a disability must apply for Paratransit service by completing an application. The application process for B-Line can take up to 21 days. To receive a B-Line “How to Ride Guide” or to have an application mailed to you, call our Customer Service Center at 883-2287.
