Judy Telge
Ms. Telge was appointed by the Corpus Christi City Council as the Transit Disadvantaged representative to the RTA Board of Directors in November 2007. She is Director of Development and the Mobility Options Project Director of the Coastal Bend Center for Independent Living, where she was Executive Director from the establishment of the agency in 1998 through 2010.
Ms. Telge serves on statewide organizations which include the Board of the Coalition of Texans with Disabilities representing the South Texas region, the Rural Transportation Alliance steering committee, and the Disability Policy Consortium of Texas Management Committee. She serves on national committees through APTA on Mobility Management, Waterborne Transportation and Access; she is a founding member of the advisory committee for the Mobility Managment Partnership with APTA and Community Transportation Association of America, and the advisory committee for the national Independent Living Coaches Mobility Management initiative.
Ms. Telge is a founding member of the planning committee for the Accessible Transportation Coalition Initiative (ACCESS TEAM); facilitator of the Functional Needs Support Services team emergency preparation effort; and President of the League of Women Voters. She holds memberships in Bay Area Smart Growth, the Nueces County Colonias Initiative, and the Transportation Coordination Network of the Coastal Bend.
